Host a Communities Talk Event in 2022 With the Power of Partnerships and Sponsors 
While SAMHSA’s Communities Talk stipend cycle has ended, the work of prevention has not! SAMHSA encourages communities to continue to build momentum behind the substance misuse prevention movement by hosting an event or activity this year. Now is also a great time to establish and fortify strategic partnerships if you’re planning to do something big in 2023.  

Even if you already have an extensive partner network, think about ways to expand or strengthen it. Partners are vital to maximizing your reach, promoting your message, and supporting your prevention effort—including providing financial support with in-kind contributions.
