Using Social Media: Instagram
Use the Instagram posts below on your personal or organizational Instagram page. You can add additional hashtags that are timely or connected directly to your community to increase the reach of your Instagram posts. For example, if your event is at a college or university, add hashtags like #CollegeLife or #CommunityCollege. For a more targeted reach, include a hashtag with the name of the college or the city’s location. You can use up to 30 hashtags on Instagram; however, the algorithm recommends between 3–5 for the most impact.
