Activity Description:

The Washington Parish Youth Against Drugs will hold a Town Hall meeting in the District Courthouse in Franklinton, LA beginning at 6 pm on Monday, April 28. The Youth Council will present their findings on youth use of alcohol . The purpose of this Town Hall Meeting is to inform the parish government on the adverse effects of underage drinking and to unite the community in preventing the early initiation of alcohol use by youth. The Youth Council will recommend increasing compliance checks as one means of deterring underage drinking.
