About Town Hall Meetings
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is inviting
communities to hold Town Hall Meetings as a grassroots effort to reduce the negative
impact of underage drinking on the health and safety of their members. SAMHSA sponsors
national Town Hall Meetings every 2 years. In 2010, more than 2,000 events were
held across the country.
