Activity Description:
Underage and high risk alcohol use are issues that affect students of Oregon State University and all residents of Corvallis and Benton County. The Town Hall aims to bring community stakeholders together to discuss these issues and to work towards evidence based solutions to resolve them. During this event OSU alcohol prevention faculty will discuss the data related to underage alcohol use and the evidence based strategies that are already being implemented or explored in order to help reduce instances of problem alcohol use. Community stakeholders will be invited to join in discussions to help the members of the Prevention and Advocacy Coalition better understand the issues in Corvallis as well as help determine future prevention strategies.
