Activity Description:
The focus of this communities' talk is to raise awareness of the impact of high risk drinking in communities and in a minority serving institution in an effort to reduce and prevent underage drinking among college students. The state of SAMHSA national initiatives will be addressed by Dr. Charles Reynolds, Director of SAMHSA/CSAP/DCP. Mr. Kevin Shird, author and president of the Do Right Foundation will speak on his lived experiences that impacted his youth relative to engaging in risky behaviors.
