College Drinking: What You Need to Know

Start Date: 04/18/2016

Location:

Benedictine Commons, College of St. Scholastica Duluth Campus
1200 Kenwood Ave
Duluth, MN 55811

Activity Description:

T3C ( Tri Campus and Community Coalition on Student Drinking) will be holding a discussion to address the issue of underage drinking for graduating seniors and for students transitioning into life as a college student. Minnesota has consistently had one of the highest rates of underage drinking in the nation. Perceptions of college life has enabled binge and underage drinking as acceptable drinking behavior and our drinking culture has glamorized the acceptability of utilizing drinking as an appropriate mechanism to cope with stress, boredom, loneliness and lack of recreational activities. T3C will be addressing these issues and many more from their perspective, as well as offering their suggestions as to how we can combat underage drinking.
